If you are interested in study abroad, please discuss your options with the undergraduate academic officer and your faculty advisor. With proper planning and approval, you may be able to complete supporting science/mathematics courses or Earth science courses for credit towards the major. Please be aware that your plan of study needs to be approved at the departmental level BEFORE you begin your study abroad programme.
Click here for more information about study abroad. Our department conducts study abroad through the Office of Global Education Mobility (OGEM).
Please note that the College of Science has obtained funding to assist students who wish to travel abroad and whose families are unable to support this. Please contact the Undergraduate Academic Officer for more information.
For EESS/ESPP students, the Earth Observatory of Singapore provided a $5,000 travel grant. This grant applies only to students who do not have a travel grant from another scholarship source. It can be used for exchange study at one of NTU’s University partners, EESS field course tuition or travel costs, or tuition and travel costs for field courses offered by other Universities as approved by EOS/ASE. For more information about the EOS Travel Grant, and field courses offered by other institutions, please visit this page.
