Seminar on long-term environmental change by Professor Emeritus John England
Noticed how the rainy season seems to have begun already in November this year? To adequately understand environmental change, including climate change, we need to have a long term perspective. Someone who really has that is John England, Professor Emeritus at the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, University of Alberta, who spent 50 years studying environmental change from the last ice age to present time.
On Friday Nov. 10 he gave a much appreciated seminar on his work in the Canadian Arctic at the ASE.
